This anime was really well thought out actually. Revolves around the research of an unknown phenomenon known as a Damocles Stone that contains really special properties. This unknown phenomenon gave birth to extremely powerful being known as kings that can administer power to individuals to create a clan. Also strains which are people who aren't not part of a clan that posses these mystical powers exist. The story takes place in a setting where people of different clans strains and regular humans all coexist in the world together. A very close friend of the red king gets murdered and they go about trying to figure out who was responsible. The story goes really deep into the history and beginning of the power that is displayed in the show as well as the people that it seriously affected. A guy named Shiro basically gets caught up in the middle of the drama and the story start to unfold. The art is great and the fight scenes are pretty high detail. The conviction of the characters and their beliefs plus the art makes the fight scenes all the more epic as its a very engaging anime to watch. If you like combat and a good story this anime is definitely for you. Also if your into a little  bit of slice of life this is definitely good for you as well as there are a lot of comradery within the clans.
